The recent consensus criteria for the diagnosis of primary lateral sclerosis (PLS) introduced the category of “probable PLS” for patients exhibiting upper-motor-neuron sings with a symptom duration interval of 2-4 years. These patients would have previously not met diagnostic criteria. In this dataset we present their imaging profile based on grey and white matter metrics in relevant anatomical regions in contrast to healthy controls and ‘definite PLS’ patients with over 4 years of symptom duration.
